Intra-Gastric Balloon (IGB)

It is a restrictive procedure, which has limited control of morbid obesity. It introduces a silicone balloon (empty), through an endoscopy. The ball, once placed inside the estóòmago, líìquido is inflated with (generally saline with methylene blue) 500ml (pint). The inflated balloon remains in the stomach, often occupying the region near this. It works by identifying more early satiety, decreasing food intake.

Advantages:
No precise cuts in the abdomen
You do not need general anesthesia.
Can be used by patients superobese for partial weight reduction prior to surgery.

Note:
You can only use this method for 6 months.
